The cove base that goes in with the panels. The CoR Skirt S 2-Way Internal Corner is the inside corner piece for the sanitary base of the CoRound Seal line, with flexible edges. It joins two runs of CoR Skirt S at the floor-to-wall juncture, where the room has no vertical cove base. Because it arrives pre-formed, the corner needs no field cuts.

What does the CoR Skirt S 2-Way Internal Corner do? This 2-way internal corner joins two runs of CoR Skirt S sanitary base where they meet at an inside corner. It suits rooms with no vertical cove base, so it works on its own at the floor. Because it arrives pre-formed with flexible edges, installers make no field cuts at the corner itself.

What Is the CoR Skirt S 2-Way Internal Corner?

It is a pre-formed inside corner with flexible edges for two CoR Skirt runs, used where there is no vertical cove base. In other words, it suits rooms where the design stops at the sanitary base. Where a CoR 4 does run up the corner, however, the CoR Skirt S 3-Way Internal Corner takes its place.

Instead, this corner piece comes ready from the factory: pre-formed corners, no silicone-filled field cuts. The curve comes from the factory, not from the installer’s hand: it is the same all the way around the room.

Where Does the 2-Way Internal Corner Install?

It goes at inside corners along the floor line, where two runs of CoR Skirt S meet and no CoR 4 runs up the wall. Typical spots include:

How Do You Install the Corner Piece?

First, installers measure and mark the space to leave at the corners for the corner pieces. Then they fasten the CoR Skirt S along both walls up to that space. Finally, they press or snap the corner piece into place. Silicone is optional: not required for installation.

If a corner piece or end cap leaves a gap, it is not fully seated: tap it into place with a rubber mallet. These instructions are general installation advice: the installer chooses the method that suits the job.
